Our vote for the best four door luxury sedan has always gone to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It looks like we won’t be changing that vote anytime soon either thanks to the unveiling of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4Matic.

The German auto maker has improved this four door beast in every area from weight to power. The new S-Class has shed 220 pounds thanks to the use of aluminum construction along with alloy wheels, and the AMG team was able to increase power output from the twin turbo 5.5 liter V8 to 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Anyone who’s ever driven one of these cars will tell you – you have no idea you just got to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds. The S-Class provides one of, if not the most smooth ride on the road. Expect this bad boy to hit the showroom floor this coming November with a six figure price tag.
