Honda Ruckus Custom: LV Project

 

 

Out here in San Diego, the Honda Ruckus has become quite popular among Honda enthusiasts. As scooters become a more sought after form of transportation for urban dwellers, projects like the Honda Ruckus LV Project Custom offer an opportunity for scooter travelers to stand out in the crowd.

 

The team at the Arcadia, CA based Rucksters decided to swap out the measly 49cc motor for a much more favorable 150cc GY6 motor to help this thing zip around town more quickly. The ‘LV Project’ comes from the Louis Vuitton inspired ‘Du Pont ‘Champagne’ color scheme and accents used throughout the bike. Tipping the scales at just under 200 pounds, you better believe that this thing has a bit of get up and go.
