While Star Wars LEGO sets have been around for years, this life size Star Wars X-Wing fighter built from 5,335,200 LEGO blocks is the biggest model ever built.
Designed to look just like the brand’s $60 9493 X-Wing Fighter, this thing spans a massive 43 feet long with a 44 foot wingspan, and stands 11 feet tall. The huge model took 32 of the best LEGO masters an entire 4 months to assemble, and even comes with a Luke Skywalker pilot and R2-D2 stationed behind the cockpit. The model is currently being displayed in Times Square, New York City to promote Cartoon Network’s ‘The Yoda Chronicles’ animated television series.
